Trinusa Group Distributes Aid to Disaster Victims in Aceh, West Sumatra, and North Sumatra
JAKARTA — As a form of concern for communities affected by natural disasters in Aceh, West Sumatra, and North Sumatra, Trinusa Group distributed humanitarian aid through the integrated command post of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Jakarta, on Friday afternoon (05/12/2025).
The aid package consisted of 14.4 tons of food supplies, including bread and other essential food items, equivalent to 4,300 boxes, as well as 1 ton of proper clothing, which will be immediately delivered to evacuation centers and affected areas.
The distribution of this humanitarian assistance was a collaborative effort involving all subsidiaries within Trinusa Group, namely PT Usaha Kita Kinerjatama (UKK), PT Trinusa Dharma Utama (TDU), PT Halmahera International Resources (HIR), and PT Trinusa Bangun Perkasa (TBP), as part of the company’s commitment to supporting post-disaster recovery efforts.
Trinusa Group President Commissioner, H. Bobby, stated that the company is not only present as a business entity but also as part of the community that carries responsibility in responding to humanitarian situations in Indonesia.
“We share the sorrow and difficulties experienced by our brothers and sisters in Sumatra. We hope this assistance can help accelerate the recovery process and provide hope for affected communities to rise again,” he said.
Trinusa Group Director, Ilham Erlangga, added that Trinusa Group will continue to be present in supporting emergency needs on the ground.
“We hope this assistance can ease the burden of our brothers and sisters affected by the disaster. Trinusa Group will continue to stand by and support post-disaster recovery efforts,” he stated.
On the same occasion, Trinusa Group Public Relations representative, Mario Agung Ranu, emphasized that this humanitarian action was a rapid response initiated by company management in addressing emergency conditions in disaster-affected areas.
“We have coordinated with relevant parties to ensure that the distribution of aid is carried out effectively and reaches those who truly need it as quickly as possible. This is part of our social responsibility as a company operating for and together with the community,” he explained.
