UKK’s Real Action for a Sustainable Environment on World Environment Day 2025
In commemoration of World Environment Day 2025, PT Usaha Kita Kinerjatama (UKK) carried out a series of activities that reflect the company’s commitment to environmental preservation and sustainability. This year, PT UKK adopted the theme “Planting More Trees and Ending Plastic Pollution” as a form of tangible contribution to protecting ecosystems within its operational areas.
Environmental Greening: Tree and Mangrove Planting
The celebration began with an opening ceremony held at the PT UKK Nursery and Green House area, attended by hundreds of participants. The event was followed by tree and mangrove planting activities as concrete steps to strengthen terrestrial and coastal ecosystems.
This initiative represents PT UKK’s ongoing contribution to reducing environmental impacts while improving the quality of the surrounding operational areas.
Environmental Education and Social Action Programs

During the environmental expo, PT UKK opened an educational booth to encourage public awareness about waste management and the importance of adopting environmentally friendly practices.
UKK Goes To School: Environmental Education from an Early Age
As part of its sustainability campaign, PT UKK also conducted the “UKK Goes To School” program at Raudhatul Fitrah Islamic Boarding School.
Through this program, students received education on waste management and the importance of preserving the environment from an early age. The initiative aims to build a generation that is more environmentally conscious and responsible.
